The Afrakan Independence Day Organizing Committee, Urban Shaman Productions & BMAAT Inc., are kicking off the rebirth of our annual Afrakan Independence Day/ Ma’at Celebration 2020. This will take place on Saturday, August 1st, 2020 A Virtual Event this year from 4pm-8pm. We are celebrating and recognizing  Ma’at which is an ancient Egyptian concept highlighting the importance of truth, justice, balance, order, righteousness, and reciprocity in our communities and in our daily lives.
